Tokio Marine Asia Pte. Ltd. (referred as "Tokio Marine Asia" – previously Millea Asia Pte. Ltd.), owned by Millea Holdings, Inc., was established on December 1st, 2002. Tokio Marine Asia was introduced and established in Singapore in order to facilitate the development and expansion of the insurance business in the Asian region.

Tokio Marine Asia also acts as the Asian regional head office to provide its group companies which are located in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, India, Taiwan and Hong Kong with management and technical support.

Tokio Marine Asia is a sister company of Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd., Japan (referred as "TMNF"). TMNF currently has over 25 million individual customers and 360,000 corporate customers, supported by about 17,000 employees and 70,000 insurance agents.

PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (referred as "Asuransi Jasindo") is the biggest state-owned (BUMN) general insurance company. Asuransi Jasindo was established on June 2nd, 1973 as a result of a merger between PT Asuransi Bendasraya and PT Umum International Underwriters.

PT Asuransi Aegis Indonesia (AAI) adalah nama baru dari perusahaan asuransi lokal yang dahulu bernama PT Asuransi Hastin Utama, yang berdiri pada tahun 1988.

Sejak Maret 2000, PT Asuransi Aegis Indonesia telah menjadi sebuah perusahaan asuransi umum patungan (Joint-Venture) berdasarkan surat keputusan Menteri Keuangan no. S.085/MK.17/2000 dan perubahan nama menjadi PT Asuransi Aegis Indonesia tersebut di setujui oleh Menteri Kehakiman (SK no. C-02253 HT.01.04.TH.2001) pada 19 Juni 2001.
